Wungong Primary School, located in Hilbert, Western Australia, is a forthcomingeducational facility set to open for the 2026 school year. As the first school within theWungongUrban Master Plan—a 1,580-hectare development projected to houseapproximately 40,000 residents—the school will cater to the growing community’seducational needs.

Designed to accommodate 540 students, the school will feature an administrationbuilding, early childhood teaching area, general learning areas, specialist rooms for artand science, a library, covered assembly area, music room, dental therapy facilities, anoval, and hard courts. The development includes provisions for 229 on-site car parkingbays and three covered bike shelters, supporting sustainable transport options.Construction will occur in two stages, with Stage 1 providing permanent classrooms for540 students and temporary demountables for an additional 300 students until Stage 2is completed.

The project is part of the Western Australian Government’s investment in educationalinfrastructure, with a combined allocation of $90.8 million for new primary schools inWellard East and Wungong.
