The Lodge Wadjemupis a transformative redevelopment of the former Karma Rottnestsite, aiming to enhance Rottnest Island’s accommodation and tourism offerings. Theproject includes the refurbishment of 63 existing guest rooms and the addition of 46new rooms, culminating in a 109-room resort. Amenities feature a guest pool, diningyard and bar, street-facing kiosk, and a dedicated cultural space known as theGathering Ground. The development emphasizes low-impact design that harmonizeswith the island’s natural setting andrespects its Aboriginal heritage. Stage One openedin December 2024, with Stage Two anticipated for completion in September 2025
