A new standalone St John of God Midland Private Hospital is being constructedapproximately 300 metres from the existing public hospital campus inPerth’s easterncorridor. The development will deliver a modern, purpose-built facility to meet growingprivate healthcare demand in the region.Key features include:
- 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependencyunit
- 24-bed short stay and day procedure unit with six treatment chairs
- Four general operating theatres and two procedure rooms
- A cardiac and vascular catheterisation laboratory
This will be the first time interventional cardiology services are available in the region,helping reduce the need for patients to travel to central Perth. The facility is designed todeliver comprehensive private medical and surgical services and is part of a broaderinitiative to expand healthcare access in the rapidly growing Midland area.
