The Thornlie–Cockburn Link is a 17.5 km extension of Perth’s rail network, connectingThornlie Station on the Armadale Line to Cockburn Central Station on the MandurahLine. This project marks Perth’s first east-west cross-line connection, enhancing traveloptions across the southern suburbs

Key Features:

  • New Stations: Nicholson Road and Ranford Road stations, each featuringparking, bus interchanges, passenger amenities, and cycling facilities
  • Station Upgrades: Enhancements to Thornlie, Cockburn Central, and PerthStadium stations to improve connectivity and passenger experience.
  • Public Art Installations: Seven artists will create four public art pieces at the newstations, celebrating the local environment, Noongar culture, and connection toCountry
