The Armadale District Hall, originally constructed in 1936, underwent a significantrefurbishment to restore its heritage features and enhance its functionality forcontemporarycommunity use. The redevelopment included the addition of a newcentral entry foyer, a multi-purpose space adjoining the existing halls, and updatedlandscaping. The project aimed to preserve the hall’s Inter-War Art Deco architecturalstyle while providing modern amenities to support a variety of civic and communityevents. The revitalised hall was officially reopened in May 2019.
